No. Danzu measures your own movement against the music — it never compares you to a reference video. That means freestyle, improvisation, and your own choreography are all scoreable.

You pick your style during onboarding. Your genre sets how the axes are weighted into your overall score and tailors the coaching you get back; the individual axis measurements are the same across styles. Freestyle is fully supported — no set choreography is required.

Danzu provides automated measurements for practice. Compare clips with the same music, framing and task, and review the video alongside the numbers. Input quality and scorer updates can affect results; repeatability alone does not establish accuracy or improvement.

Open iOS Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Danzu, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends to avoid the next charge.

The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the $59.99/year subscription starts automatically.

Tap Restore on the purchase screen while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
