Privacy Policy

Danzu ("we", "us") provides AI-powered dance analysis through the Danzu iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your videos are processed to generate your results, they are not used for any other purpose, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

• Dance videos. Videos you choose to analyze are uploaded to our analysis servers, processed to produce your scores, metrics, and coaching feedback, and are not used for any other purpose. We do not use your videos to train models, we do not share them with third parties for their own use, and we do not sell them.
• Onboarding answers. When you set up the app you may answer questions about your dance goals, preferred genres, skill level, practice habits, gender, and birth date. We use these answers only to personalize your analysis and coaching plan.
• Analysis results. Scores, per-axis metrics, and coaching tips generated from your videos.
• Purchase and subscription data. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat and Superwall as service providers to manage subscription state and the purchase screen. They receive pseudonymous identifiers and transaction metadata — never your payment card details, which stay with Apple.
• Sign in with Apple (optional). If you sign in, we receive the pseudonymous identifier Apple provides. Signing in is optional.
• Basic diagnostics.Crash and performance data via Apple's built-in mechanisms, subject to your iOS settings.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party advertising or use ad SDKs.
• We do not use your videos or profile for anything other than producing your results and improving your experience in the app.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run Danzu: cloud infrastructure that performs the video analysis, Apple (payments and sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Superwall (purchase screen delivery). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function on our behalf.

Retention

Analysis results and your profile remain available so the app can show your progress. Uploaded videos are retained only as long as needed to process your analysis and operate the service. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email danzuapp@gmail.com from the address associated with your request. We respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

Danzu is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to what is required to operate the service.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
